Bob Esquerra has played at many levels of the game culminating at the college level with USIU in 1988. He has played abroad and still actively plays in San Diego. Coach Esquerra is a hands-on instructor and teaches through demonstration. He is a firm believer in the mechanics of the swing and has designed many unorthodox drills that trigger and teach certain key aspects of the swing. Coach Esquerra is active with Positive Coaching Alliance, President of the BASEUP.org organization, which was created to bring quality instruction to communities in and around San Diego. He is also an inventor of various baseball related hitting products designed to enhance performance at every level of the game.
